Job Description:

ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.

We are immediately hiring for a creative VIDEOGRAPHER AND VIDEO EDITOR , to join our Marketing Communications team. Collaborating with both our Marketing and Graphic design teams, you will have the opportunity to design and create a wide breadth of content across our Americas businesses (U.S, Canada and LatAm teams), including product videos, E-Learning and educational videos, and creative video content.

Located at our Corporate offices, 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creative development, layout, design, and production of video content, as per corporate branding guidelines, to include product (installation) videos, E-learning and educational videos, and creative video content. Lead video production for E-Learning platform and other educational initiatives with the goal of creating an engaging customer experience.
    • Create shot lists, storyboarding, lighting sets and pre/postproduction.
    • Responsible for shooting video in a variety of environments including, but not limited to; a video production studio, in-house sets, and field-based shoots.
    • Ability to shoot in and manage a fully equipped video studio.
    • Postproduction and editing, to include graphic development, 2D-animations, audio and voiceover correction, final rendering, and output.
  • Work with Digital Marketing Specialist to optimize video content for the various social media platforms.
  • Support interactive POP/tradeshow signage with video content and creative ideas to engage customers.
  • Contribute to and articulate conceptual marketing campaigns and designs.

Experience and Skills:

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 (three to five) years of video production and editing experience
  • Strong knowledge of design software including Adobe Premier Pro, AfterEffects, and Photoshop is required
  • Ability to work with speed and accuracy on multiple projects deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work individually with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to work in a team environment with stakeholders from various departments to include Marketing, Product Management and Technical to bring a video concept to fruition.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business
  • Excellent communication, organizational, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity, Customer Excellence and Team Collaboration are essential.
  • Solution driven. Agile and able to adapt priorities at short notice.


  • Associate degree in Video Design, Video Production or comparable discipline, or relevant work experience
