Job Description:

ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is a Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.

As Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing lead generation and project tracking support to assigned Regional Sales teams, and collaborate with internal departments such as Technical, Customer Service, and Marketing.  You will also facilitate and action customer product requests, trade events, and help train new Sales Professionals  on internal system protocols.

This is an entry level opportunity for an individual who enjoys working across varied projects in a fast-paced environment, communicating with internal and external customers, and is exceptionally organized.

Located at our Corporate campus, 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the main facilitator for lead generation support
  • Assist National Accounts team with Projects in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, including specific project entries
  • Enter and facilitate sales marketing requests and tracking with sales professionals
  • Manage the administration of special pricing via the CRM system, working with customer service team to answer and resolve pricing questions. Review, and request payments through accounting/keep a running total of payouts
  • Support all Trade Shows US/Canada, registration, payment, literature, etc.
  • Help with travel arrangements and internal training itinerary for new hires, as well as administrative training of new sales professionals
  • Responsible for coordination of all details for Red Carpet Events scheduled by managers and/or sales professionals at ARDEX Headquarters
  • Prepare and maintain file back documentation (rebate and promotional programs)
  • Entering and processing indirect sales, working with Sales Managers and Pricing team
  • Responsible for becoming familiar with all ARDEX and Henry product information

Experience and Skills:

  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Word, Outlook, Teams, and the Internet. Intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint and preparing presentations is preferred
  • CRM experience is preferred
  • Must possess First-Class Customer Service skills with a high degree of professionalism (patience, empathy, positive attitude, solution driven)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; meet deadlines and objectives, set priorities, and adapt to rapidly changing situation
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Confident, clear, articulate and professional communicator, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsive and proactive
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree within a business-related field preferred or minimum high school diploma with equivalent work experience
