Job Description:

ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials. 

We are hiring General Labor/Machine Operators/Production Technicians for our Aliquippa Production Facility. Employees will operate a variety of equipment and perform many types of production and maintenance related functions in the manufacturing and processing of flooring products.

• Starting rate $18.00/hour
• Full-time position with excellent Company Benefits!
• Steady shift that will not rotate: Monday – Friday: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. or 11:00 p .m. - 7:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Running state of the art manufacturing machinery
• Measuring, weighing raw materials and filling silos
• Ensuring product quality is accurate
• Monitoring the production process
• Packaging goods to be shipped
• Storing goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse

Experience and Skills:

• An appreciation for a safe working environment
• Communicates information effectively
• Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Must possess an excellent work ethic, including good attendance
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to follow directions
• Strong team player – willingness to help team-mates, and promotes a positive work environment
• Forklift and hand truck experience preferred

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift to 55 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending.
