Job Description:

ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.

We are hiring General Labor/Production to work in our Bourbonnais, IL Production Facility. This position is responsible for the safely and efficiently operating of mixers and batch making equipment and is expected to work multiple platforms on a regular basis. This includes assisting on filling operations when required (hand-filling and automatic lines) as well as processing of all required paperwork.

This position is Monday- Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, $17.00/Hour. This is a temporary position that could become permanent.

Experience and Skills:

• Must possess an excellent work ethic, including good attendance.
• Must be able to go up and down ladders.
• Must be able to continuously lift 55 lbs, occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending.
• Dependability, accountability, adaptability, detail-oriented, and responsiveness are essential.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with supervisors, maintenance, and other employees.
• Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment and in various temperatures.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends based on company needs.
• Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills.
• Previous experience with forklift and basic computer skills preferred.
