We are hiring General Labor/Shipper Loader to work in our Bourbonnais, IL Production Facility.  This position is responsible for the safe picking, loading, unloading of trucks as well as receiving raw materials including processing of all required paperwork for orders and receipts. 

The starting rate will be $17.00/hour and the shift will be 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick and load all trucks for shipping.
• Photograph every truck before the door is closed.
• Responsible for all documentation for pick slips.
• Ensure all pallet quantities are documented correctly.
• Ensure safety chains on trucks are hooked.
• Ensure all product is rotated and remove out-of-date materials on a timely basis.
• Repair and report damages to manager
• Report all equipment problems to manger
• Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

• Must possess an excellent work ethic, including good attendance.
• Must be able to go up and down ladders.
• Must be able to continuously lift 55 lbs, occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending.
• Dependability, accountability, adaptability, detail-oriented, and responsiveness are essential.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with truck drivers, coworkers, and other employees.
• Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment and in various temperatures.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends based on company needs.
• Previous experience with forklift and basic computer skills preferred.
