Job Description:

ARDEX Americas (www.ArdexAmericas.com), is the Global industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials.

We are immediately hiring for OUTSIDE / FIELD SALES PROFESSIONAL, with experience of TILE AND STONE INSTALLATION SYSTEMS to join our NEW ENGLAND team, with a concentration and home base location of BOSTON.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced sales and business developer with a proven track record of developing and delivering new sales business opportunities with commercial contractors, installers, architects and distributor partners.

Industry sales experience (tile and stone installation) is essential.

Approximately 30% travel including occasional overnight to cover New England Market (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine - focus on and home office base of BOSTON)


  • Drive, develop, promote and grow sales of ARDEX products and systems throughout territory
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with distributors, contractors, specifiers and other key business influencers
  • Retain current accounts and prospect new business development
  • Successfully launch and promote new products via hands on product demonstrations, presentations & professional product displays
  • Collaborate with Corporate resources such Technical, Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to ARDEX customers
  • Drive lead generation through jobsite visits, lead generation services, cold calls etc.
  • Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans
  • Achieve and exceed targets, goals and objectives, as established with Sales Manager
  • Represent ARDEX as an industry leader through exceptional professional standards, and a 'customer first' approach.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential
  • Demonstrable experience of Tile and Stone Installation Systems is essential (thin sets, sub floor preparation, cement & epoxy grouts, under tile waterproofing, commercial & residential). Tile and stone installation experience is desirable
  • Confident and professional presenter
  • Able to operate non power and power tools. Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
  • Technically proficient: familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for the business. Customer-driven and professional
  • Self-starter. Able to use initiative, work and adapt to a fast paced and changing market
  • Able to make sound business decisions, influence, be assertive and close a sale
  • Demonstrates ARDEX Growth Mindset competencies: Innovation, Open Mindedness, Collaboration, Agility, Initiating Action and Execution, Ownership
  • Proficient in digital systems including CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory as per advertised amounts, including some overnight
  • Able to lift to 70 pounds (on occasion) with a carrying capability of 55 pounds


  • College degree preferred or, minimum high school diploma /GED and industry related experience
