Job Description:

ARDEX Americas, (www.ArdexAmericas.com), part of the ARDEX Group, is a global key player in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials, leading the industry with consistent product innovation for the most complex installations including concrete repair and resurfacing, substrate preparation, flooring installation, and tile and stone installation materials.

We are immediately hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician to join our Stockton California, Production Facility.


This position will provide all required support, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to production line machinery and facilities. This position will report to the Plant Manager.

This is a full-time position and the working hours will be from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


  • Trouble shoot and repair plant machinery
  • Maintain support department equipment in Shipping, Quality, Maintenance, and front office. This will include forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain plant infrastructure equipment such as air compressors, dust collector, and electrical distribution systems
  • Maintain surrounding grounds and equipment such as landscaping, lighting, irrigation system, flags, etc.
  • Work on present equipment modifications

Experience and Skills:

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills
  • Must be able to lift to 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and multiple shifts when necessary
  • Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and in various temperatures
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with supervisors, maintenance and other employees
  • Fork Lift, welding and electrical skills are preferred.


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
