We are immediately hiring for a TECHNICAL
WRITER to join our Technical Communications Team.
Following on-the-job training on ARDEX products and systems
lines, you will be primarily responsible for creating, maintaining
and communicating a range of accurate technical documentation
relating to ARDEX products and installation systems use. ARDEX
Technical Writers have a critical role in providing legally sound
letters, documents and product warranties, to internal customers
(our sales teams), and external customers (Contractors, Installers,
Architects, Distributors etc.).
The successful individual will have strong writing skills with
exceptional attention to detail and an appreciation for
time-sensitive, process-driven work. A Bachelor's Degree with a
concentration on technical writing, or a background in legal writing
or journalism would be ideal.
This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday), to be based at our
Corporate campus, 20 minutes North of Pittsburgh International Airport.
Develop a thorough understanding of ARDEX product and system
offerings through on-the-job training
Interview colleagues (Field Sales Professionals) and customers
as needed to obtain necessary information to:
Provide ARDEX Field Sales Professionals and customers with
case-specific, written product installation instructions and
Written analysis, including limited lab analysis
(collaborating with R&D team), and written evaluations of
jobsite or product issues
Product warranty confirmations
Create and maintain technical documentation on product
offerings, communicating changes both internally and externally
Thorough documentation of all correspondence and activity
related to each request in accordance with team processes
Assist internal and external customers with technical
questions as needed
Maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
