Job Description:

ARDEX Americas, (www.ArdexAmericas.com), part of the ARDEX Group, is a global key player in the manufacturing and development of high-performance specialty building materials related to the flooring industry,

This position is primarily responsible for safely and efficiently handling and loading raw materials. The ideal candidate will be able to use computer touch panels and packaging machines to support customer needs and the production team.

We are immediately hiring Production/Laborers in our Stockton, CA manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position and the working hours will be 7:00 am. - 3:30 p.m. with the possibility of moving to 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. We offer excellent benefits and compensation together with a great team environment.

General duties:

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment throughout the plant using a variety of tools, including: 5S, frequent inspections, and end-of-shift cleanup.
  • Assist throughout the plant where needed.
  • Learn the production operations throughout the plant.
  • Learn to operate the fork lifts and material handling equipment. Get certified as appropriate.
  • Familiarize yourself with all of the raw materials and finished products and their Material Safety Data Sheet ("MSDS") information.
  • Ensure that safety procedures are followed at all times and maintain a good safety record
  • All other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills
  • Ability to lift to 100 pounds (occasional), ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally kneeling and bending
  • Must possess a strong work ethic, possess a positive attitude and maintain good attendance
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Safe use of material handling equipment and driving a fork lift (training will be provided)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal customers


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
